Job summary

CHAGEE (M) SDN. BHD. (Retail) is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for The Gardens Mall to lead daily operations of our beverage outlet, ensure quality and service standards, and drive sales targets.

You will supervise staff, handle customer issues, and manage inventory and cash handling with a focus on profitability. The role requires teamwork, prior F&B outlet experience, and a proactive approach to training and development.

Qualifications

• At least SPM certification.
• Experience in managing or supervising a food & beverage outlet.
• Able to work as part of a team to meet outlet targets and ensure smooth operations.
• Self-discipline and motivation to maintain knowledge and skills for outlet operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily store operations and ensure high service standards.
• Supervise beverage preparation and quality control per recipes.
• Forecast sales targets and implement actions to achieve them.
• Plan staff schedules and manage payroll/attendance to meet needs.
• Oversee hiring, training and onboarding of new staff.
• Manage inventory, cash, card and e-wallet receipts securely.
• Monitor costs including raw materials and utilities to meet profitability targets.
• Ensure adherence to operation guides and cleanliness of outlets.
• Address customer issues and complaints to maintain best customer experience.
