Job summary

Perdana ParkCity Sdn Bhd in Desa ParkCity, Kuala Lumpur is seeking a hands-on F&B Outlet Manager to oversee daily operations of its new outlet. You will manage opening/closing, cash handling, stock reports, and ensure smooth service while leading a small team.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in F&B Management with at least 5 years in F&B, including 2 years in a supervisory role. You must have strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication and be willing to work six days a week at Desa

Qualifications

• Diploma in F&B Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in F&B operations; 2+ years as Outlet/Assistant Manager in kopitiam, kopi chain, coffee shop or casual local restaurant.
• Experience with vendors or central kitchen supplies.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin/Cantonese an added advantage.
• Willing to work 6 days per week including weekends/public holidays; own transport.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day outlet operations: opening/closing, cash-up, banking, daily sales, and stock reports.
• Manage staff shift schedules, training, performance, attendance and leave arrangements.
• Handle daily food and beverage orders and deliveries; conduct monthly vendor reviews.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards; ensure readiness for inspections.
• Control costs within the approved OPEX; approve small purchases.
• Handle customer feedback and build relationships with regular customers.
• Keep POS menu, prices and modifiers current; perform end-of-day reconciliation and report issues.
• Prepare weekly management report covering sales, covers, labor, vendor issues, and incidents.
• Assist at other stations (counter, beverage, food prep, floor) as needed.

Job description

We are looking for a hands‑on and experienced F&B Outlet Manager to oversee the daily operations of our new outlet in Desa ParkCity. The ideal candidate is customer‑oriented, organized and capable of managing a team while ensuring smooth and efficient outlet operations.

What You'll Do:

Manage the day‑to‑day operation of the outlet, including opening and closing, cash‑up, banking, daily sales, and stock report.

Prepare and manage staff shift schedules, training, performance, attendance and leave arrangements.

Manage daily food and beverage orders and deliveries, check quality and consistency, handle shortfalls and substitutions, and conduct monthly vendor reviews with Management.

Maintain food safety and hygiene standards, including temperature logs, holding times, pest control, grease trap servicing and licence displays, and ensure the outlet is always ready for DBKL inspections.

Control costs within the approved OPEX, including labour hours, wastage, utilities and operating supplies, and approve small purchases within the delegated limit.

Handle customer feedback and complaints personally and warmly, and build good relationships with regular customers.

Keep POS menu, prices and modifiers current, perform end‑of‑day reconciliation, and report card and e‑wallet settlement issues.

Prepare weekly one‑page report for the Management covering sales, covers, labor, vendor issues, and incidents.

Assist at other stations (counter, beverage, food prep, floor) when required to support the smooth operation of the outlet.

What We’re Looking For:

Diploma in F&B Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration or an equivalent qualification.

Minimum 5 years of working experience in F&B operations, with at least 2 years as an Outlet Manager or Assistant Manager in a kopitiam, kopi chain, coffee shop or casual local restaurant.

Experience managing vendors or central kitchen supplies, rather than working exclusively with an in‑house kitchen.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an added advantage to deal with Chinese‑speaking customers.

Excellent customer service skills with a pleasant, positive and approachable personality.

Must possess own transport and be willing to run errands related to outlet operations.

Willing to work 6 days per week on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays as required.

Must be willing to work in Desa ParkCity, Kuala Lumpur.
