Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced F&B Area Operations Manager to oversee multiple outlets in Johor Bahru, driving SOP adherence, staff development, and strong operational performance. You will work closely with the Founder to strengthen operations and prepare the business for growth.

The role demands hands-on leadership, travel between outlets in Johor Bahru, and a proven track record in cost control, coaching Store Managers, and improving guest experience across all outlets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of F&B experience.
• Experience as Area Manager/Operations Manager/Multi-Outlet Manager.
• Strong experience in SOP implementation and staff training.
• Experience in developing Store Managers and opening new outlets.
• Willing to travel between outlets in Johor Bahru.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of multiple F&B outlets.
• Lead, coach and develop Store Managers and outlet teams.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, service and operating standards.
• Develop and implement SOPs, checklists and operational systems.
• Establish structured staff training and onboarding processes.
• Conduct regular outlet visits, audits and performance reviews.
• Monitor sales, food cost, labour cost, wastage and inventory.
• Identify operational issues and implement effective solutions.
• Improve productivity, efficiency and profitability across outlets.
• Work with Store Managers to achieve operational and financial targets.

An experienced F&B Area Operations Manager role for someone with experience managing multiple F&B outlets, developing people, implementing SOPs and improving operational performance. This is a hands-on leadership position working closely with the Founder to strengthen operations and prepare the business for future growth.

• Good understanding of food cost, labour cost, inventory and wastage control
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and take ownership of results
• Willing to travel between outlets in Johor Bahru
