Job summary

Genting Malaysia Bhd in Genting Highlands is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager to lead daily restaurant, bar, lounge, and banqueting operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

You will manage staffing, training, scheduling, and performance, while controlling costs, monitoring quality, hygiene, and compliance with safety standards. The role collaborates with Sales, Marketing, and procurement to drive revenue and service excellence.

• Ensure smooth service delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor food and beverage quality, hygiene, and service standards.
• Recruit, train, coach, and supervise F&B employees.
• Prepare staff schedules and manage manpower requirements.
• Conduct performance evaluations and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Control operating costs and expenses.
• Monitor sales performance and profitability.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
• Ensure proper inventory control and minimize wastage.
• Coordinate special events, promotions, and festive activities.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to drive revenue.

• Conduct regular inspections of outlets and kitchen areas.
• Monitor cleanliness and workplace safety.

6. Inventory & Purchasing

• Oversee stock management and ordering of food, beverages, and supplies.
• Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams.
• Ensure adequate stock levels while controlling costs.

7. Event & Promotion Management

• Coordinate special events, promotions, and festive activities.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to drive revenue.
• Develop strategies to increase food and beverage sales.
