Job summary

Ormond Group, a major hospitality player in Malaysia, is seeking enthusiastic F&B service staff in Kuala Lumpur. You will greet guests, take orders, suggest menu items, and ensure accurate handling of payments while maintaining high service standards.

The role requires good English and Bahasa Malaysia, ability to work shifts including weekends and public holidays, and a friendly, team-focused attitude. Fresh graduates are welcome, with training provided to support growth within The Chow Kit,

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/Certificate/Diploma in Hospitality or related field.
• Prior experience in F&B service is an advantage; fresh graduates welcome.
• Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, provide menu recommendations, and take accurate orders.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
• Set up, arrange, and clean tables and dining areas before, during, and after service.
• Handle guest inquiries and address concerns professionally, escalating when needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items and accuracy in order preparation.
• Maintain knowledge of all offerings to provide detailed information to guests.
• Suggest and up-sell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
• Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately and process payments.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness.
• Participate in daily briefings for events, menu changes, and other information.
• Assist in inventory management of F&B supplies and report shortages or damages.
• Support F&B team during events and functions for seamless execution.
