Job summary

Prudential is seeking a Senior Finance leader to oversee the daily expense operations, close processes, and international reporting. You will lead a team, collaborate with HR, Group Office, auditors and stakeholders to drive improvements and automation, while ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• ACCA/CPA/CA/ICAEW or equivalent (in progress is an added advantage).
• 12+ years of commercial experience.
• At least 5 years in a supervisory/managerial role to lead a Finance team.
• Experience dealing with auditors, regulators and tax authorities across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily expense operations and financial/reporting activities.
• Manage monthly close and Group, statutory and regulatory reporting.
• Lead audits across countries (e.g., Singapore, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, UK, US).
• Oversee Treasury to optimize cash yield and FX exposure.
• Provide analytics, forecasts and commentaries; improve data quality.
• Manage expense payment process and ensure timely payments.
• Collaborate with Finance Business Partner to deliver reports for senior management.
• Deliver insights including benchmarking data and deep dives into financial items.
• Implement robust controls and automate processes to improve efficiency.
• Coach and mentor team members and promote positive workplace culture.
