Job summary

Prudential is seeking a senior finance professional in Kuala Lumpur to manage a broad range of accounting functions, including staff cost accounting, fixed assets, and lease management. You will oversee local and group reporting, ensure timely month-end close, and liaise with audits and regulators.

Strong analytical skills and leadership experience are essential. The role requires 5–7 years of experience, a finance degree, and professional accounting qualifications or progress toward them.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or related field.
• Professional accounting qualifications (ACCA/CPA/CA/ICAEW) or pursuing designation.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience, with supervisory or team lead preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on accounting for staff costs and liaising with HR on queries.
• Timely accounting of fixed assets and leases.
• Prepare month-end accrual journals and GL reconciliations.
• Deliver monthly close and Group/regulatory reporting.
• Support audits and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Mentor team and contribute to process improvements.
