Job summary

Prudential Services Asia is seeking a Finance professional to manage a broad range of accounting and reporting functions in Kuala Lumpur. You will oversee staff cost accounting, fixed assets, lease management, and both local and group reporting while ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

You will also support audits, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CPA/CA/ICAEW) or pursuing designation is an advantage.
• 5–7 years of relevant working experience, preferably with supervisory or team lead responsibility.
• Experience from Big 4 audit firm or financial services, fund management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on accounting for staff costs (salary, bonus, allowances) and liaising with HR on queries.
• Timely accounting of fixed assets and leases with supporting schedules.
• Prepare month-end accruals and GL reconciliations; follow up on long balances.
