Job summary

A leading event management company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for passionate individuals to capture new clients through sales and marketing. The role requires excellent communication skills in English and proficiency in MS Office, along with a minimum of a diploma and experience in the exhibition/events industry. Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of working experience in the exhibition/events industry is preferred.
  • Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines with accuracy, and pay attention to detail.
  • Possess own transport and a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Capture new clients through sales calls and marketing.
  • Arrange appointments with existing/potential clients to meet their exhibition/event requirements.
  • Provide ideas/solutions suitable for the customer.
  • Compile information and brief designers in developing conceptual designs.
  • Prepare proposals, manage tender procedures, and deliver presentations.
  • Follow up with clients and close sales to meet sales targets.
  • Manage all pre-event, on-site, and post-event coordination.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Able to speak Mandarin/Bahasa Malaysia

  • Willing to travel outstation/overseas if needed.
  • Able to work long hours and during weekends/public holidays if needed.
  • Proficient in MS Office. Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is an advantage.

  • Manage all pre‑event, on‑site, and post‑event coordination and execution to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop up‑to‑date knowledge on market trends, demand, and competitor behavior.
