Job summary

AT&S Malaysia invites applications for a Lead Security role at Campus 2.0. Lead end-to-end security operations protecting people, assets, facilities, and business continuity through robust management and loss prevention programs.

You will partner with Security Systems teams, SCC, and outsourced providers to drive security excellence, implement policies, conduct investigations, and deliver KPI-driven results.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering, science or a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years in physical security management (Ops & Systems).
• Teamwork with leadership capabilities and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and technical aptitude; proficient with PowerPoint and Excel.
• Knowledgeable about security systems, investigations, and reporting.
• Familiarity with TAPA FSR, CTPAT, ISMS and RBA requirements.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outsourced security to meet KPI objectives and safety standards.
• Ensure security operations comply with policies, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Organize daily deployment and manage outsource security to meet KPIs.
• Collaborate with Security Control Center Officers and Security Systems teams.
• Lead Emergency Response Team activities and coordinate with EHS/ERT leadership.
• Investigate security incidents, generate reports, and preserve evidence.
• Coach and supervise outsourced security personnel toward goals.
• Drive security improvement projects with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and deliver security training programs and site initiatives.

Lead and oversee end-to-end security operations for Campus 2.0, ensuring the effective protection of people, assets, facilities, and business operations through robust physical security management, strategic manpower deployment, investigations, audits, and loss prevention programs. Partner with key stakeholders, Security Systems teams, and outsourced security providers to drive security excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational resilience. Support the Head of Security & Loss Prevention in safeguarding company assets, people, intellectual property, and business continuity by driving the effective implementation of security strategies, policies, standards, and SOPs.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate, develop and deploy effectively outsourced security to meet company's security and loss prevention objectives

Ensure the Security Operation Team runs in accordance with company policies, rules and regulations; conduct security inspection and assessments on buildings, departments, grounds, equipment, operation systems and manpower deployment

Organize daily deployment effectively and manage the outsource security on daily basis to meet KPIs; ensure all team members comply with and understand security processes and procedures

Work closely with Security Control Center (SCC) Officers and Security Systems Team to meet security operation, safety and security systems KPIs

Lead plant ERT (Emergency Response Team) for Security Department and work closely with EHS/ERT Lead/Commander for Campus 2.0; take immediate action in the event of major safety/security incidents

Conduct thorough investigation on any reported cases, generate SIR, prepare comprehensive investigation reports, secure all relevant evidence and submit to immediate supervisor/Head of Security

Supervise, coach and motivate outsourced security team/subordinates to achieve departmental goals

Work as a team with Security Ops/Investigation Section Manager and Security System Section Manager to drive improvement projects

Prepare and execute security related training programs for the site, self-development and outsourced security team

Perform any other security/safety duties or initiatives as directed by the Head of Security/Loss Prevention

About you

Engineering, Science or relevant background with Diploma/Degree or above

Minimum of 5 years related working experience in physical security (Security Ops & Systems) management

Be a team worker and able to be a team leader

Complex problem-solving skills and good technical capability

Knowledgeable in computer literacy, investigation skills and Security Systems

Knowledgeable with TAPA FSR, CTPAT, ISMS and RBA requirements

Fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia skill for both written and oral

Good teamwork, leadership and team management experience

Capable of working dependently and under pressure

Ability to develop clear presentations and insightful reports using PowerPoint and Excel
