Job summary

OCEAN NETWORK EXPRESS (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD is seeking a Sales Support Executive to assist the sales team with portfolio management for key accounts and related activities. The role includes handling quotations, inquiries, and digital tools training for customers.

The ideal candidate will have a degree, at least 3 years in shipping sales, and a proven ability to manage projects and digitalization initiatives within a logistics environment. Malaysia-based, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree holder or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in shipping sales or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely quotations to customers.
• Respond to phone calls and emails.
• Follow up on Shipping Instructions, missing documents, no-show and Dangerous Goods applications.
• Conduct telemarketing calls - lost recovery / gaining new customers.
• Promote, educate & guide customers into using ONE e-Com/digital tools including Live Chat.
• Perform timely and accurate Detention & Demurrage & CCL waiver requests.
• Familiar with TIGER filing system and independently perform rate filing without errors.
• Manage overdue, change of destination and long stay containers.
• ONE Force Data Handling - Making sure that data are always updated timely in the system.

Job description

The primary purpose of this position is to support Sales in managing portfolios for Key Account, plus other tasks that the Management believes are within the abilities of the Job holder that fit with the Company’s strategies as circumstances dictate.

Job Description:

Provide accurate and timely quotations to customers

Respond to phone calls and emails

Follow-up on pending Shipping Instructions, missing documents, no-show and Dangerous Goods applications

Conduct telemarketing calls - lost recovery / gaining new customers

Promote, educate & guide customers into using ONE e-Com/digital tools including Live Chat

Perform timely and accurate Detention & Demurrage & Commerce Control List (CCL) waiver request

Familiar with TIGER filing system and independently perform rate filing without errors

ONE Force Data Handling - Making sure that data are always updated timely in the system
