Responsibilities

• Identify Chinese clients/shippers/forwarders/agents requiring sea/air freight to special routes in the US, Canada, and China.
• Provide clients with agency services, transportation, cargo, and logistics solutions.
• Handle inquiries and quotations from company sales staff.
• Organize air/sea freight rate sheets and understand the advantages of routes and carriers.
• Manage onboarding, updates, and maintenance of service providers.
• Maintain cooperation with shipping lines/airlines and consignees.
• Enhance competitiveness of route products and develop new channels.

About the role

We are seeking an Ocean Export Operations Junior Executive, Senior Executive, or Manager to join the dynamic team at EZOCEAN LOGISTICS MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur, offering an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our freight and cargo forwarding operations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing ocean export operations, ensuring seamless coordination between clients, shipping partners, and internal teams. This position is fundamental to maintaining our reputation for reliability and excellence in the freight forwarding industry.

Key responsibilities

• 1. Identify Chinese clients/shippers/forwarders/agents requiring sea/air freight to special routes in the US, Canada, and China.
• 2. Provide clients with agency services, transportation, import/export cargo, and logistics solutions.
• 3. Handle inquiries and quotations from company sales staff.
• 4. Organize air/sea freight rate sheets, understand the advantages of different routes and carriers.
• 5. Manage the onboarding, updating, and maintenance of company service providers.
• 6. Maintain cooperation with shipping lines/airlines and consignees.
• 7. Enhance the competitiveness of route products and develop new channels.

What we're looking for

• 1. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience in the freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics industry are welcome. Candidates with 1 year of experience in the freight business and market will also be considered, with preference given to those with shipping or airline resources. Candidates with over 2 years of relevant experience are preferred.
• 3. Strong negotiation skills, excellent service awareness and professional ethics, good team spirit, stress resistance, and communication skills.
• 4. Proficient in English, fluent in handling business emails. Mandarin speakers are preferred.
• 5. We are hiring for Junior Executive, Senior Executive, and Manager positions.
