Job summary

DSV Road Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Executive for Process Data and Digitalization (PDD) to drive data-driven improvements across road logistics and IT-enabled processes in Malaysia.

You will gather requirements, translate them into actionable insights, and work with IT, operations, and business units to implement digital tools and automation. Ideal candidates have analytical skills, knowledge of Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps), and programming basics (SQL/Python).

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in information systems, logistics operation, logistics engineering, or IT-related discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform: Power BI, Power Automate and Power Apps.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate into actionable insights for digitalization and productivity improvement.
• Configure, implement and optimize systems to meet business requirements in TMS.
• Collaborate with the Head of Road to identify trends and plan ahead.
• Review processes and implement process improvements.
• Facilitate communication between developers, data scientists and business units for successful implementation.
• Translate business requirements into technical specs for EDI and API projects.
• Recommend system changes and manage transitions to new processes.
• Conduct system trainings and provide support to super-users and end-users.
• Develop SOPs, policies and standards.

Executive - Process Data and Digitalization (PDD)

We are looking for a highly curious and influential individual who enjoys asking questions, challenging existing processes, and driving meaningful improvements. You should be eager to learn, proactive in identifying opportunities, and motivated to create efficient, data-driven solutions that enhance business performance.

Key responsibilities

Gather and analyze business requirements and put them into actionable insights specifically for digitalization and productivity improvement.

Solution, configure and implement systems to meet business requirements in TMS.

Working with the Head of Road to identify future trends for Road and preparation of a plan to get ahead of the curve

Review of existing process and identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives

Facilitating business focused communication between stakeholders, including developers, data scientists and business units to ensure successful implementation

Collaborating with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications for EDI, API projects.

Recommend and implement system-related changes and ensure a successful transition to what's new by fully understanding the business process.

Conduct system-related trainings and provide functional support to the super-users and end-users

Develop service procedures, policies and standards through SOP.
Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with Operations, Customer Service, Warehouse, Transport, and IT teams.

Gather business requirements and translate them into practical solutions.

Provide training and support to end users on new digital tools and processes.

Qualification and Skill Required

Degree/Diploma in Information Systems, Logistics operation, Logistics engineering or IT-related discipline.

Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, words, outlook, etc)

Basic knowledge and experience in developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Automate and Power Apps.

1-2 years in systems implementation / business process related experience.

Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong analytical skills with focus on customer value and business outcomes

Programming knowledge (SQL, Python)

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written (English); fluency in other Asian Languages a plus.

Team player with a strong motivation and good working attitude and ability to learn quickly.

Good planning and organizational skills.

Effective communicator who can engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
