Job summary

Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd seeks an Executive, Part Quality (New Model Quality & Delivery Development) to lead part drawing and specification control, and to plan, execute and monitor QAV2 and related tooling activities for new model parts.

You will ensure parts quality and delivery maturation meet model targets, perform root cause analysis, review BOM accuracy, and implement DCN and COP/regulations. Collaboration with HOS/Model PL/IE and supplier liaison is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with part development and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills for QA/QC tasks.

Responsibilities

• Control part drawing and specification
• Plan, execute and monitor QAV2/related tooling activity
• Ensure parts quality and delivery maturation meet model targets
• Conduct root cause and problem-solving analysis during development
• Monitor BOM/Local Parts List accuracy and DCN implementation
• Ensure COP/Regulation implementation
• Prepare reports and reviews for HOS/Model PL/IE
• Support data requests and adhoc tasks from superiors
• Issue PRs in EPP for new model local parts and additions
• Monitor PR, PO, DI and GRN completion for events and additions
• Receive parts for new model events and additions
• Aide ISO/HQS/Audit tasks and OHSEMS compliance
• Promote safe working environment and coordinate with suppliers
• Enforce supplier adherence to development and mass-pro requirements

To provide any support data as per requested by cate HOS/Model PL/IE

To support adhoc task request by superior

Perform PR (Purchase Request) issuance to supplier in EPP system for new model local part event & additional

To monitor PR, PO, DI & GRN completion for event & additional part in EPP system

Part receiving for new model event & additional part

Others:

ISO/HQS/Audit (Special Task Committee - Related member only)

Comply with OHSEMS regulation. ISO14001: 2015 & ISO45001: 2018 compliance

Represent division in promoting and ensuring safe working environment

QAV2 Audit Execution

QAV2 Evaluator

Conduct part joint check, trial, visit at supplier side

Window person coordination meeting with supplier

Enforce HMSB supplier to follow development & masspro requirement/standard

Skills & Knowledge:

Parts nature knowledge, problem QC analysis, presentation skill, negotiation skill in Japanese will be advantage

Able to solve technical issue related to part development

Auditing skill and report writing

Ability to understand drawing

Qualification / Capability:

Min. degree in engineering field or Equivalent

Experienced in product development

Knowledge, skills, aptitude and capable to perform arithmetic analysis
