Job summary

DKSH is seeking an Executive, Medical Affairs in Malaysia to deliver medical training, build scientific partnerships, and empower the sales force with current clinical evidence.

You will engage healthcare professionals, lead CME programs, and participate in scientific meetings, while ensuring regulatory considerations across territories are understood. Fresh graduates with pharmacy background are welcome to apply, with a minimum of 1 year in Medical Affairs or healthcare.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science or Medical discipline; pharmacy/medicine preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in Medical Affairs or healthcare role.
• Ability to read and present clinical studies to diverse professional audiences.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for products in territories.
• Experience presenting to healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical and product training to strengthen the sales force's knowledge.
• Keep internal team knowledge current through regular training.
• Build scientific partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Support healthcare professionals through scientific detailing and disease management.
• Conduct round table discussions with healthcare professionals.

About The Role

The Executive, Medical Affairs supports DKSH's Healthcare Medical Affairs function by delivering medical and product training, building scientific partnerships with healthcare professionals, and equipping the sales force with the latest clinical knowledge and evidence. This role is central to advancing DKSH's scientific credibility and strengthening meaningful relationships within the medical community.

What You Will Deliver

• Deliver medical and product training on disease management to strengthen the scientific knowledge, standards, and overall capability of the sales force
• Ensure internal team knowledge remains current through regular and scheduled training sessions, equipping the commercial team with up-to-date clinical insights and findings
• Build and cultivate scientific partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), collecting and compiling their feedback to support brand and medical strategies
• Support healthcare professionals through scientific detailing and disease management engagement, contributing to improved patient outcomes and enhanced brand credibility
• Conduct round table discussions with healthcare professionals, integrating both commercial and technical perspectives to enrich dialogue and strengthen professional relationships
• Initiate and manage Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs for internal and external audiences, partnering with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure quality and relevance
• Participate in scientific meetings and congresses to stay current with the latest clinical developments and represent DKSH's Medical Affairs capabilities
• Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required

What You Bring

• Degree or professional qualification in a Science or Medical-related discipline; a pharmacy or medicine background is preferred; fresh graduates with a pharmacy background are welcome to apply
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar Medical Affairs or healthcare-related role
• Basic knowledge of reading, interpreting, and presenting clinical studies to diverse professional audiences
• Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements for products within assigned territories, including product handling procedures, shelf life, and warranty considerations
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage confidently and credibly with healthcare professionals
• Basic research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and communicate scientific information clearly
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Fluent in the local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
