Malayan Flour Mills Berhad (MFM) is seeking a qualified FP&A professional to review and analyse monthly P&L, assess SKU and customer profitability, and examine pricing and COGS. You will analyse sales by product category, channel and key customers, and review logistics and packaging costs.
The role involves rolling 12-month forecasts, preparing the annual budget aligned with strategic goals, and identifying improvement opportunities in financial processes.
Review and analyse the actual monthly Profit & Loss, which includes the following:
Analyse contribution by SKUs and customers, which include pricing and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
Sales volume achievement by product categories, channels and key customers
Logistics and Packaging Cost Analysis
Production Variable overheads include labour, electricity, repair and maintenance, and other costs.
Plant fixed overheads and operating expenses analysis.
Review and analyse transportation cost for Poultry Integration, including Feeds, Day Old Chick (DOC), Broiler and Finished Products.
Responsible for the rolling of 12 months Profit & Loss (P&L) forecast. Identify gaps and recommend the action plans.
Responsible for the annual budget which is aligned and supported by the strategic business goals.
Continuously provide recommendations for areas of improvement in the current financial, accounting processes and reporting for better efficiency.
Perform feasibility study for new CAPEX and assigned projects accordingly.
Qualifications:
CIMA, ACCA, Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Accounting or equivalent.
2 - 3 years of working experience in financial planning & analysis, financial reporting
or related field.
