Job summary

Malayan Flour Mills Berhad (MFM) is seeking an experienced Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead financial planning, analysis and business partnering for our operations. Based in Segari, Perak, you will work with Operations and Finance leadership to drive budgeting, forecasting, costing and management reporting, mentoring the FP&A team and delivering insights to senior management.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related discipline.
• 8–12 years of relevant FP&A experience in FP&A, management accounting, commercial finance or operational finance.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food, agriculture or other operational environments is a plus.
• Costing and operational financial analysis expertise.
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in leading or developing a finance team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to relocate to Segari, Perak.

We are looking for an experienced Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead financial planning, analysis and business partnering activities for our operations.

This role works closely with Operations and Finance leadership to provide meaningful financial insights, strengthen cost management and support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the annual budgeting and financial forecasting process.

Prepare financial analysis and management reports to support business decisions.

Analyse operational and manufacturing costs, variances and financial performance.

Partner with Operations and other business functions to identify cost improvement opportunities.

Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, and provide recommendations to management.

Support business planning, financial modelling and strategic initiatives.

Lead and develop the FP&A team.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline.

8–12 years of relevant experience in FP&A, management accounting, commercial finance or operational finance.

Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting.

Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food, agriculture or other operational environments will be an advantage.

Good understanding of costing and operational financial analysis.

Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills.

Proven experience in leading or developing a finance team.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
