Job summary

SOCOE is seeking an energetic Exec, Events to drive hands-on event execution, on-site logistics, and cross-team collaboration for high-stakes tech activations in Sarawak and beyond.

You will work with leadership and technical teams to deliver interactive showcases that translate complex digital infrastructure into human, tangible experiences. Aiming to grow in a fast-paced environment, you’ll lead guest and partner relations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience executing corporate events, brand activations, or production setups.
• Education in Event Management, Marketing, Mass Communications, or related fields.
• Comfort with event tech software and modern presentation tools.
• Able to stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with vendors, leaders, and teams.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on Event Execution: plan, set up, and run interactive tech showcases, corporate launches, and media activations.
• On-Site Ops & Logistics: coordinate vendors, equipment, run-of-show, and on-site troubleshooting.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: align event assets with live tech rollouts with Creative, Marketing, and Systems teams.
• Stakeholder & Guest Support: be primary contact for attendees, partners, and vendors with strong hospitality.
• Post-Event Insights: collect feedback, track metrics, and help wrap up reports to improve future events.

What You’ll Do

Hands-on Event Execution: Assist in planning, setting up, and running interactive tech showcases, corporate launches, and media activations.

On-Site Ops & Logistics: Handle vendor coordination, equipment setup, run-of-show schedules, and troubleshooting on the ground so every event runs smoothly.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Creative, Marketing, and Systems Development teams to align event assets with live tech rollouts.

Stakeholder & Guest Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for event attendees, partners, and vendors, delivering high-touch hospitality and professional communication.

Post-Event Insights: Collect attendee feedback, track engagement metrics, and help compile wrap-up reports to make every event smarter than the last.

What We’re Looking For

1–3 Years in the Game: Experience executing corporate events, brand activations, or production setups (tech or state-level project experience is a major plus).

Education: Degree or Diploma in Event Management, Marketing, Mass Communications, or related fields.

Digital Savvy: Comfortable with event tech software, digital check-in tools, project management apps, and modern presentation tech.

Hustle & Adaptability: Quick on your feet, composed under pressure, and hungry to grow in a fast-paced environment.
