Job summary

E-Idaman Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist to maintain and support the company's IT systems across all locations in Kedah and surrounding areas.

You will ensure smooth operation of services, manage assets and backups, and assist users with technical issues. The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in an IT-related field and at least 3 years' experience in system administration, network management, and IT support.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, CS, SE or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in IT infrastructure, system and network administration.
• Experience with IT asset management and backups.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement, monitor and control IT infra across all locations.
• Manage Internet and network issues including firewall and related devices.
• Audit IT assets and PCs across locations.
• Oversee daily data backups for all systems and users.
• Administer Active Directory (AD).
• Maintain IT equipment, spare parts and dispose assets.
• Manage EISB ticketing system.
• Provide training and guidance on OS, networking and hardware.

Job description

To maintain and support the Company's IT infrastructure and IT equipment while providing timely technical support to resolve users' IT issues and service requests.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement, monitor and control all IT infrastructures including computers, IT devices, Internet infrastructure, servers infrastructure and IT equipment to ensure smooth operation of IT services for all location.
• Plan, manage, implement, monitor and responsible the Internet and network issues such as firewall and other related devices.
• Provide analysing, plan, manage and implementation of IT asset and PC/IT audit to all location of IT asset.
• Assist to plan, manage, implement and responsible to do daily backup on all system and users data.
• Plan, manage & responsible on Active directory (AD).
• Plan, manage and delivery all the IT infrastructure including computer, spare part, IT devices and equipment.
• Plan, manage and implementation of dispose the all IT Asset.
• Manage all issue the EISB ticketing system.
• Provide training and technical guidance to all staff on the operating system, network connectivity, hardware and related to IT Infrastructures.
• Follow and participate in the system and implementations of the set-up and re-evaluate installed procedures to ensure proper applications.
• Plan & responsible on documentation of procedures (SOP, policies and document related) used in IT Infrastructures and related.
• Provide technical guidance to staff on the operating systems, software application, networking connectivity and hardware support.
• Provide assistance in the daily operations of MIS Department and also projects as and when required by the company.

Education

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or any other related discipline.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years' relevant working experience in Information Technology Infrastructure, System Administration, Network Administration, Technical Support or other related IT functions.
