Job summary

CARRO in Malaysia seeks a detail-oriented finance professional to perform bank reconciliations, daily cash updates, and support month-end close. The role requires 1–2 years SSC experience, strong Excel and ERP skills, with Oracle NetSuite a plus. You will collaborate with Country Finance and PTP teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 1–2 years bank reconciliation SSC experience.
• Excel formulas, pivot tables and charts preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems; Oracle NetSuite is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform Bank Reconciliation, Daily cash update, validation and maintain accurate financial records.
• Ensure bank reconciliation activities are completed within established service level agreements (SLAs).
• Prepare Bank -related journal entries as assigned, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Country Finance, SSC PTP,OTC & RTR) to support finance-related tasks by providing timely and accurate information.
• Participate in assigned projects and initiatives, including system enhancements, transitions.
• Ensure all work documentation and work processes are updated.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities to ssupport month-end and year-end closing activities as and when required.

Role and Responsibilities:

Qualification and Job Requirements:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in bank reconciliation, preferably in a Shared Services Centre (SSC).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (knowledge of formulas, pivot tables, and charts preferred).
• Intermediate to strong IT skills, including ERP systems; Experience with Oracle NetSuite is an advantage.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adapt to change.
