CARSOME Sdn Bhd is seeking an Executive, Business Planning to join our team in Malaysia. You will drive business performance reporting, monitor intake and programme progress, and support planning initiatives through data analysis and cross-functional coordination.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with Excel and Power BI, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights for management decisions.

• Monitor business performance reporting and analyse trends for insights.
• Consolidate, validate, and maintain performance data for reporting.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management decision-making.
• Track grants, utilisation, approvals, and claims against plans.
• Monitor budget utilisation, participant progress, and deliverables.
• Maintain grant records and utilisation documentation for stakeholders.
• Track programme intake targets, registration, and enrolment progress.

We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Executive, Business Planning. In this role, you will manage business performance reporting, monitor programme and intake progress, and support business planning initiatives through data analysis and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in data management and reporting tools, and the ability to translate business data into meaningful insights to support management decision-making.

Business Performance & Reporting

Performance Monitoring: Monitor recruitment, registration, enrolment, and programme performance against established targets.

Data Management: Consolidate, validate, and maintain business performance data to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Performance Analysis: Analyze trends, identify performance gaps, and prepare reports and presentations to support management decision-making

Grant Tracking: Monitor grant applications, approvals, utilisation, disbursements, and claims to ensure progress against approved funding and programme plans.

Utilization Monitoring: Track budget utilisation, participant progress, and programme deliverables against grant requirements.

Reporting & Compliance: Maintain grant records and prepare utilisation reports and supporting documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Programme & Intake Tracking

Intake Monitoring: Track programme intake targets, registration status, participant commitments, and enrolment progress.

Progress Tracking: Monitor programme milestones, deliverables, deadlines, and outstanding actions.

Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with relevant departments to obtain updates, resolve data discrepancies, and ensure timely reporting.

Business Project Tracking

Project Monitoring: Track the progress, milestones, deliverables, and timelines of business projects across the organization, including initiatives beyond TVET.

Status Reporting: Consolidate project updates, highlight delays and potential risks, and maintain project tracking reports.

Follow-up & Coordination: Coordinate with project PICs to monitor action items and ensure timely updates on project progress.

Business Planning & Management Support

Planning & Proposals: Support the preparation of business plans, funding proposals, budgets, and management presentations.

Data Analysis: Conduct business analysis and prepare insights to support planning, resource allocation, and performance improvement.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data management, and operational efficiency.

Your Know-How

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Experience in performance reporting, data management, or business operations.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other relevant reporting tools.
