Credit Bureau Malaysia is seeking an Executive for Brand Strategy & Communications with expertise in corporate communication across multiple media platforms. Responsibilities include executing communication strategies, managing media relations, and fostering collaboration with stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, at least 5 years of corporate communications experience, excellent writing skills in English, Malay, and Chinese, alongside strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
Property & REIT
Corporate Communication & Content Creation:
Plan and execute communication strategies across both offline and online media platforms.
Lead or support the creation of press releases, newsletters, corporate announcements, corporate matters, and other key messaging.
Create and manage content for social media (in a supporting role to the Social Media team), websites, and marketing materials.
Coordinate and support event management efforts, including product launches and community engagement initiatives.
Manage Sunway Property Corporate Website and Brand Image across various customer communication channels according to Brand CI & Identity.
Media Relations & Public Relations, Stakeholder Management:
Maintain strong working relationships with internal departments, external agencies, event organizers, media partners, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless campaign coordination.
Monitor media coverage and promptly respond to inquiries to maintain a positive brand image.
Build and maintain strong relationships with media professionals, journalists, and industry influencers.
Award Submissions & Documentation:
Assist in the preparation of award submissions by gathering relevant project and company information.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and creative agencies to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
Data, Market & Competitor Analysis:
Compile, analyse and track internal first-party customer data from various corporate communication channels
Conduct market research to understand market trends, and competitive landscape, and identify opportunities for brand & corporate differentiation and growth
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, with a passion for branding and creativity across traditional and digital media.(Note: Diploma holders with relevant working experience will also be considered.)
Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate communications, preferably in the property or real estate industry.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills in English with proficiency in Malay and Chinese.
Strong organisational skills with experience managing projects across multiple departments efficiently.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptable and proactive mindset, with a strong aptitude for continuous learning and the ability to challenge the status quo.
Leadership abilities, with the capacity to mentor and guide interns and junior staff.
Analytical thinker with sound judgment and decision-making skills, able to adopt an end-to-end approach to problem-solving.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong general computer literacy.
Previous experience in brand, media and website management (UI/UX) is an added advantage.
Knowledge in QESH Management, HIRARC, ESH legal & other requirements and EHS practices would be an added advantage.
