IA International Assistance in Malaysia is seeking an accounting professional to handle daily AR transactions, invoicing, and data maintenance for clients and TPA partners. You will assist in month-end closings, bank reconciliations, and payroll postings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, with CPA/ACCA progress as a plus, and 1–2 years of multinational experience.

1. Daily accounting receivable (AR) transactions of issuing of all TPA Fee invoices, including creation of dummy invoices where required.
2. Preparation and maintaining members data from Clients and TPA Partners, for accurate and prompt invoicing.
3. Assist in following up and communication with Clients and TPA partners in members data and payments.
4. Assist in the AR (International and Domestic) month end closing, reconciliations, reporting and sales revenue schedules.
5. To prepare and review Bank Reconciliations.
6. Responsible for journal posting for unrealised foreign gains and loss.
7. Responsible for the posting of monthly payroll and statutory journals.
8. Assist in preparing audit pack and answer queries during final audit.
9. Provide support to Credit Control to respond to SOA queries from providers.
10. Maintain proper filing and housekeeping of documents and business records.
11. Coordinate and liaise with other departments on all accounting matters and resolve queries/problems that arise.
12. And any other adhoc duties given by AM or HOD from time to time.
1. Bachelor degree or above in Accounting or Finance. Progress in CPA/ACCA qualification will be a plus.
2. Minimum 1-2 years finance/accounting related experience in a multinational company.
3. Knowledge in SQL system/Accounting software is compulsory.
4. Thorough understanding of the local tax laws and regulations.
5. Fluency in both oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia would be an advantage.
6. Experience in daily invoicing and reconciliation of invoice payments.
7. Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
8. Knowledge in Accounting Standard and Reporting requirements.
9. Candidate to be able to demonstrate good working knowledge and application of local/international accounting standards, principles and practices.
10. Candidate to be able to demonstrate basic research and analytical skills.
11. Candidate with experience without the necessary qualifications may be considered.
