Jora Malaysia is seeking an entry-level accounting candidate to join our finance team in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves preparing the full set of accounts, ensuring closing cash books are complete and accurate, and coordinating with AR/AP to finalize transactions on time.

Prepare full set of accounts including closing cash book and completeness of major transactions.
Monitor closing status by collaboration with other team members such as AR and AP to complete transactions on time.
Prepare recurring and non-recurring journal vouchers with relevant supporting documents.
Monitor prepayment accounts and charge out expenses on monthly basis.
Monitor accrual accounts and ensure the balances are cleared subsequently.
Maintain fixed asset schedule, including depreciation, additions and disposals.
Summarize and issue intercompany debit notes/credit notes on monthly basis for any advances, back-charged expenses, paymentson behalf, collections on behalf, etc.
Prepare bank reconciliation report for each assigned bank accounts.
Prepare relevant supporting documents / information during internal and external audits.
Prepare and provide relevant information for corporate tax computation and upon request by tax agents.
