Job summary

Koocester is seeking an experienced events professional to manage lifestyle events in Malaysia from planning through close. You will handle venue selection, supplier coordination, budgeting, and on-the-day leadership to ensure successful execution.

The role requires calm decision-making on the day, strict cost control, and proficient spreadsheet use. English fluency is essential, Malay a plus; occasional weekend/evening work may be needed.

• Run each event from plan to close: venue, vendors, sponsors, marshals and run of show
• Build the budget, collect supplier quotes and keep spending on target
• Lead the team on the day and make the go or no go call
• Hand every lead to Sales and every story angle to Marketing
• Close each event with actual numbers, cost per lead and a short report

Job description

Koocester is a lifestyle media platform covering homes, business, food, autos and wealth across Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Our events do three jobs: fill the room, turn it into leads, and turn it into content. You own each event in Malaysia from plan to close.

What you will do

Formats you will run

Car meets, home fairs, masterclasses, community runs, pickleball and networking nights.

You are

Two or more years in events, operations or production

Calm on the day, firm with suppliers and careful with money

Comfortable with spreadsheets and quick in writing

Fluent in English; Malay is a plus

Free on some weekends and evenings
