Job summary

The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, operated by Convex Malaysia Sdn Bhd, seeks a Security Officer to implement the security plan and protect property, employees and guests. You will report to Security Supervisors and support security operations across the Centre.

Responsibilities include patrolling, incident investigations, coordinating surveillance and access control, handling administrative tasks such as overtime, and providing timely responses to emergencies as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations and enforcing procedures.
• Ability to conduct investigations on incidents across departments.
• Skill in coordinating surveillance and door access controls.
• Competence in administrative tasks (overtime, deployment records).
• Proven ability to respond appropriately to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the Centre to deter and detect security issues.
• Roam and monitor static and loading dock areas; manage traffic as needed.
• Investigate security-related incidents and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Coordinate surveillance arrangements, access control, and related security tasks.
• Maintain security records, overtime and deployment logs; assist in emergencies.
