Job summary

ROOTS Malaysia, part of the ROOTS & DEX Group, is seeking a proactive individual to support marketing operations, activations, and event delivery in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with project coordination, deliverables, and research, while contributing to brainstorms and documentation. On-ground event support and progress updates are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in events, marketing, or activations.
• Strong English communication; Mandarin/Chinese preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, Google Docs and Google Slides.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
• Own transportation for event setups.

Responsibilities

• Support the line manager in day-to-day operations and project coordination.
• Assist and manage deliverables from time to time.
• Conduct marketing research and gather insights when required.
• Support meeting recaps and documentation.
• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, planning, and team discussions.
• Assist with event setup, on-ground execution, and project deliverables.
• Provide regular project updates and progress tracking daily/weekly.
