Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an events professional to support client concepts, vendor coordination and on-site production. You will build strong relationships with clients and suppliers and help turn proposals into live experiences.

The role requires a degree/diploma in Marketing, Mass Communication, Event Management or Hospitality, plus basic skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Premier Pro, with the ability to handle multiple projects in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Candidate should hold a Degree/Diploma/Advanced in Marketing, Mass Communication, Event Management or Hospitality.
• Preferably 1 year of experience in the event industry.
• Basic skills in Photoshop, Illustrator and Premier Pro.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Follow up concepts and proposals and turn them into realities.
• Source materials and negotiate best prices from suppliers.
• Act as liaison between clients, designers and third-party vendors to meet event requirements.
• Coordinate and manage set-up, show flow, and dismantling of production.
• Handle multiple projects from entry to complex events.
• Participate in brainstorming and execution of concepts and themes for events.
• Be a team player with presentation, interpersonal, organizing and communication skills.

• Key liaison between clients, designers and other 3rd party vendors and ensuring events requirement are met
• Coordinate and manage set-up on production, on show flow and dismantling
• Able to handle multiple projects from entry to complex events
• Participate in brainstorming and execution process for the concepts and theme for all events
• Be a team player with good presentation, interpersonal, organizing and communication skills
