Job summary

BYD Malaysia is seeking a Senior Product Executive to support expansion and ongoing development of the BYD vehicle portfolio in Malaysia. You will work closely with vehicles and EVs, conducting market research, analyzing trends, and preparing product specifications and USPs for internal stakeholders and HQ.

You will collaborate with Sales and Marketing on launches and events, monitor market changes, gather dealer feedback, and coordinate with HQ to ensure timely communication and alignment on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant automotive experience, especially in product planning or marketing.
• Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate and present clearly with internal and HQ stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research on local automotive trends, customer preferences, and pricing.
• Analyze competitor models to support product planning and positioning.
• Develop product specifications and USPs based on local requirements.
• Prepare brochures and presentations for internal stakeholders and HQ.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to support launches and events.
• Monitor market trends and provide regular market intelligence to HQ.
• Coordinate with HQ on product-related matters to ensure alignment.
• Gather dealer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement.
