Job summary

Zura Charge Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a fresh Electrical Engineering graduate to join our EV charging design team. You will assist in designing and laying out charging systems, and support site surveys and SLD preparations.

You'll gain hands-on experience across residential, commercial, and industrial projects, with mentorship from senior engineers, and opportunities to grow in a fast-growing EV charging market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required or encouraged for fresh graduates.
• Basic knowledge of electrical distribution systems, circuit protection, and wiring.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, electrical design software, or similar tools is an added advantage.
• Strong interest in renewable energy, sustainability, and EV charging solutions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and layout of EV charging systems and electrical schematics.
• Support site surveys, load analysis, and cable sizing calculations.
• Prepare and review single-line diagrams (SLD), technical drawings, and project documentation.
• Monitor installation progress and assist in quality control at project sites.
• Work closely with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure safe and efficient installation.
• Provide technical support for testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of EV chargers.
• Learn and support installation standards.
• Support the technical team in preparing proposals, project reports, and client presentations.
• Continuously learn and stay updated on EV charging technologies and industry best practices.
