Job summary

Jobinmalaysia is seeking an Electrical Design & Project Engineer to lead EV charging infrastructure design and general electrical systems for LV/MV installations in Singapore. You will draft SLDs, wiring schematics, and tender drawings, while coordinating with PE and LEW for approvals.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Min 1+ years in electrical design; EV charger project design highly preferred.
Proficient in AutoCAD / SLD preparation; familiar with load flow & protection coordination software.
Strong knowledge of SS722, SS638, EMA regulations, and LTA EV requirements.
Understanding of PE/LEW submission & approval workflows in Singapore.
Fluent in English with strong documentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Design electrical systems for EV charging stations and general LV/MV installations.
Prepare SLDs, wiring schematics, cable schedules, earthing/protection plans.
Ensure designs comply with SS722, SS638, EMA, LTA EV requirements.
Produce technical specifications, design briefs, and tender drawings.
Plan, coordinate, and execute controlled supply shutdowns and energisation.
Coordinate with PE and LEW; attend site meetings and reviews.
Prepare design reports, meeting minutes, and compliance submissions.
