Job summary

Recharge Xolutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Technician to join our EV charging team. You will install, test, commission, and maintain EV chargers at residential, commercial, and public sites, while coordinating with other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.

The role requires hands-on electrical knowledge, ability to perform civil works such as ceiling cuts and cable laying, strong customer service, and careful documentation of tests and countermeasures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in installing and commissioning EV chargers.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
• Experience with civil work: cutting ceilings, wall hacking, concealing cables, cable laying.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• PW4 license preferred.
• Proficiency in using relevant tools, equipment, and software.

Responsibilities

• Install EV chargers at residential, commercial, and public locations.
• Test and commission EV chargers to ensure proper functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during installation.
• Manage installation materials and inventory for proper project execution.
• Communicate with customers to understand requirements and provide updates.
• Provide guidance on use of installed EV chargers.
• Perform civil works including cutting ceilings and concealing cables.
• Ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
• Coordinate with other contractors and service providers.
• Record installation data and prepare countermeasure reports.
