Job summary
Energi Elite in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a PW2/PW4 Wireman KL - EV Charger Technician for a full-time on-site role. You will install, maintain, and repair EV charging infrastructure, ensuring safety and reliability for clients as Malaysia accelerates toward sustainable energy solutions.
Qualified candidates will have PW2/PW4 certification, proven installation experience, and familiarity with AC/DC charging systems.
Qualifications
- Valid PW2 or PW4 Electrical wireman certification recognised in Malaysia.
- Proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance, preferably in EV charging or renewable energy sectors.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuit design, and power distribution.
- Familiarity with EV charging equipment, connectors, and charging protocols (AC/DC).
- Safety regulations and compliance for electrical installations; testing equipment proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Install, test, and commission EV charging equipment per safety standards.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on EV charging stations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in charging infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and industry best practices.
- Conduct safety inspections and testing before handover to clients.
- Liaise with clients to understand charging requirements and provide support.
- Maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance and repairs.
