Job summary

Auto Elegance Sdn Bhd, an authorised GWM dealer in Malaysia, seeks an Automotive Service Advisor for GWM Skudai. You will liaise between customers and the Aftersales Service Department, identify service needs, and coordinate repair work to ensure quality and satisfaction.

Applicants should have 1–3 years in a similar role, strong customer service, and knowledge of vehicle maintenance; EV knowledge is a plus. Weekend shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's in automotive/related field preferred.
• 1–3 years in a Service Advisor or aftersales role in automotive industry.
• Fresh graduates with automotive knowledge and strong customer service are welcome.
• Good understanding of vehicle maintenance; EV knowledge is a plus.
• Familiar with DMS, RO processes and aftersales operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and understand service or repair requirements.
• Conduct preliminary inspections with customers when needed.
• Advise on maintenance schedules, repair recommendations and service packages.
• Explain procedures, costs and timelines clearly to customers.
• Manage service appointments and RO documentation.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts for efficient workflow.
• Monitor progress and update customers on status.
• Upsell maintenance, parts and value-added services where appropriate.
• Ensure service meets manufacturer and dealer standards.
• Provide EV service consultation and guidance when applicable.
