Job summary

TAT IT Technolgies in Malaysia is seeking an ETL Software Tester / QA Engineer with 3+ years of experience to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through comprehensive testing.

The role involves working closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC, plus collaboration in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and CI/CD testing activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in ETL QA testing.
• Experience with manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and identify testing needs.
• Prepare test plans, scenarios, cases, and scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing.
• Execute manual and automated tests for web and mobile apps.
• Identify, document, and track defects.
• Retest and perform regression testing after fixes.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams.
• Perform API testing with Postman or similar tools.
• Run basic SQL queries for DB validation.
• Maintain QA documentation and reports.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
• Support CI/CD testing and QA process improvements.
• Ensure releases meet quality criteria.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented ETL Software Tester / QA Engineer to join our technology team in Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, functionality, and performance of software applications through comprehensive manual and automated testing.

The candidate will work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements and identify testing requirements.
• Prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing.
• Execute manual and automated test cases across web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.
• Re-test defects after fixes and perform regression testing.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to investigate and resolve issues.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar tools.
• Perform database validation and basic SQL queries.
• Maintain testing documentation, test evidence, and QA reports.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and defect review meetings.
• Support CI/CD testing activities and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Ensure software releases meet defined quality and acceptance criteria.
