Job summary

TAT IT Technolgies in Malaysia is seeking an experienced ETL Software Tester / QA Engineer to ensure quality, reliability, and performance of software across web and mobile apps. The role focuses on manual and automated testing within an SDLC framework.

The successful candidate will collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA peers in Agile/Scrum teams, supporting CI/CD and QA process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ETL QA testing experience.
• Proficient in manual and automated testing.
• Strong SQL skills for basic validation.
• Familiar with API testing using tools like Postman.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements and identify testing requirements.
• Prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing.
• Execute manual and automated test cases across web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.
• Re-test defects after fixes and perform regression testing.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to investigate and resolve issues.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar tools.
• Perform database validation and basic SQL queries.
• Maintain testing documentation, test evidence, and QA reports.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and defect review meetings.
• Support CI/CD testing activities and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Ensure software releases meet defined quality and acceptance criteria.
