Job summary

Talent Arabia is seeking an experienced ETL Software Tester / QA Engineer for our client in Malaysia. The role focuses on ensuring quality, reliability, functionality and performance of software through manual and automated testing across web and mobile applications.

You will work with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC in an Agile environment, contributing to CI/CD testing activities and QA process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ETL testing and QA experience.
• Experience with manual and automated testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements and identify testing requirements.
• Prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing.
• Execute manual and automated test cases across web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.
• Re-test defects after fixes and perform regression testing.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to investigate and resolve issues.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar tools.
• Perform database validation and basic SQL queries.
• Maintain testing documentation, test evidence, and QA reports.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and defect review meetings.
• Support CI/CD testing activities and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Ensure software releases meet defined quality and acceptance criteria.
