Job summary

Prestar Storage System Sdn Bhd (unit 2) is seeking an Agribusiness Development Manager/ Assistant Manager to drive local and export sales in agricultural machinery and estate services. The role requires a strong track record in consultative selling, dealer development, and technical product feedback with engineering teams to shape future offerings.

Candidates should have hands-on field experience, own transport, and a Bachelor’s degree, with a willingness to work outdoors and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• Own transport and a valid driving licence
• Knowledge of MSPO/RSPO, machinery handling, and basic mechanical troubleshooting
• Experience in consultative and technical selling, field demo execution, dealer appointments and CRM proficiency
• Minimum 5 years in agriculture, plantation supplies, or agri-machinery; 3 years field sales

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets for local and export markets
• Develop and grow estate, smallholder and plantation customer base nationwide
• Identify and appoint dealers, agents and distributors for mechanised products local and overseas
• Plan and conduct field demos and product trials at estate sites
• Build and maintain relationships with estate managers, planters, co-ops and government agencies
• Prepare quotations, costing and ROI justifications for customers
• Manage sales pipelines, forecasts and monthly sales reporting
• Collect structured field feedback on machine performance and submit to R&D
• Provide market intelligence on competitor products and pricing
• Support R&D on product improvement and new product development from a market standpoint
• Handle after-sales support escalations and warranty issues
• Train dealers, customers and operators on correct usage and basic maintenance
• Represent the company at agriculture exhibitions, roadshows and industry events
