Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is seeking a Manager/Assistant Manager to lead ESG and sustainability initiatives within Business & Corporate Banking in Malaysia. You will develop policies, frameworks and procedures, review existing programs, and drive ESG initiatives across the bank.

The role requires strong English communication, a relevant degree, and knowledge of sustainability topics; certification in GRI/TCFD is advantageous, with a focus on energy transition and responsible finance.

Qualifications

• Strong command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Formulate actions and embed them into internal and customer documentation in BCB.
• Coordinate with lines of business to grow sustainable finance and lead ESG thinking.
• Implement sustainability topics, ensure policy delivery and targets.
• Develop and roll out ESG events and stakeholder engagement programs.
• Drive simplification and automation of ESG processes to cut costs and improve controls.
