Job summary

UHY Malaysia is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented candidate to support delivery of Sustainability, ESG and Climate Change services to clients in Malaysia and across Southeast Asia.

You will assist in reporting, risk analysis, benchmarking, climate projects and client engagements, working with management and cross-border teams. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with up to 1 year of relevant experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Sustainability or a related discipline is required.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with up to 1 year of relevant experience advantageous.
• Strong interest in Sustainability, ESG and Climate Change.

Responsibilities

• Support project management and delivery of sustainability and ESG projects under guidance.
• Assist in preparing sustainability and ESG reports, corporate sustainability strategies and targets.
• Conduct sustainability risk, opportunity, trend, policy and regulatory analysis.
• Support ESG gap analysis and benchmarking of clients’ sustainability programmes and performance.
• Assist in climate-related projects, including climate risk and decarbonisation strategies.
• Support the preparation and delivery of sustainability and climate-related proposals.
• Assist in sustainability assurance engagements, including ESG data analysis, verification, stakeholder interviews, assurance reporting and recommendations for improvement.
• Support sustainability training and presentations for clients and senior management.
• Work collaboratively with project teams across different sectors, clients and countries in Southeast Asia/Asia Pacific.
