Job summary

Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia seeks a Manager/Assistant Manager for Business & Corporate Banking focusing on ESG & Sustainability to develop policies, frameworks and procedures and to review ongoing programs. You will coordinate with various lines of business to drive sustainable finance growth and contribute to ESG initiatives across the organization.

The role requires leadership in ESG topic implementation, governance improvements, and rolling out capacity-building and stakeholder engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance / Economics / Commerce / Engineering, Environmental Management.
• GRI certification and/or knowledge of TCFD is advantageous.
• Experience in ESG, energy transition, circular economy or sustainable strategy is a strong plus.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee ESG policies, frameworks and procedures for BCB.
• Coordinate with lines of business to drive sustainable finance growth.
• Drive implementation of sustainability topics and policy rollout.
• Organize sustainability events and stakeholder engagement programs.
• Simplify, standardize and automate ESG-related business processes.
