Job summary

Hong Leong Bank Berhad is seeking a Manager / Assistant Manager in Business & Corporate Banking (ESG & Sustainability) to develop and oversee ESG policies, frameworks and procedures within the corporate banking arm.

You will coordinate with various lines of business to unlock sustainable finance opportunities, drive policy implementation and deliver on targets, while advancing ESG governance and reporting practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, commerce, engineering, environmental management or related field.
• GRI certification or knowledge of TCFD is advantageous.
• Experience with sustainability topics (energy transition, circular economy, ESG, sustainability strategy) is a plus.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee ESG policies, frameworks and procedures for BCB.
• Coordinate with lines of business to drive sustainable finance and ESG initiatives.
• Drive implementation of sustainability topics and policy targets.
• Organize sustainability events and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Drive simplification, standardization and automation of ESG-related processes to improve efficiency.
