Deloitte in Malaysia is seeking a Manager for ESG & Sustainability Assurance (S&SA). You will lead Climate & Sustainability assurance engagements, plan and execute per ISAE standards, and manage client relationships across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sustainability or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of audit, assurance, attestation, or ESG/sustainability assurance experience.
• Experience leading client engagements across multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of ESG reporting frameworks (GRI, ISSB, SASB, TCFD, GHG Protocol).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written English and Bahasa Melayu; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Climate & Sustainability / ESG assurance and advisory engagements with quality and on-time delivery.
• Plan, manage, and execute engagements per ISAE 3000/3410 or other standards.
• Manage multiple client engagements, including budgeting and resource allocation.
• Build and maintain client relationships as a trusted advisor and identify opportunities.
• Provide guidance on ESG reporting, disclosures, and due diligence amidst evolving regulations.
• Develop ESG assurance methodologies and tools; monitor trends for practical client impact.
• Support business development through proposals and client meetings; collaborate across Deloitte.
• Lead, coach, and develop junior team members; foster high performance.
