Job summary

Hong Leong Bank Berhad is seeking a Manager, Electrical & Electronics (E&E) / Semiconductor Specialist to translate technical mastery into corporate banking decisions. You will evaluate technology projects, assess equipment risks, and guide credit committees with sector insights.

Travel to fabs, OSATs, and data centers is required, along with collaboration with Relationship Managers to structure financing solutions and identify new corporate opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in semiconductor or data center ecosystem.
• Ability to translate technical details into banking insights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Technical Due Diligence at fabs, OSAT plants, data centers, and site facilities.
• Support deal structuring by translating equipment and power/cooling needs into financing solutions.
• Assess sector risks including tool depreciation, obsolescence, and supply chain stability.
• Advise banking teams and connect tech clients with credit committees.
• Track global trade dynamics affecting technology hardware.
• Identify prospective corporate clients and refer opportunities to RM
