Portcities seeks a dynamic Junior Consultant to join our consulting team. This role supports analysis, design, implementation, and support of technology solutions addressing clients' business needs, working with senior consultants and clients to deliver value.

You will analyze processes, accompany clients through the full delivery cycle, create documentation, and troubleshoot Odoo issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IS/CS/Business/Accounting/Management.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in solution-based sales, business development, or pre-sales with ERP/software implementation focus.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Candidates must have valid work authorization in Malaysia.
• Intermediate English communication, presentation and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client business processes and requirements to design solutions; produce specs, UAT plan, test cases, flowcharts, diagrams.
• Support full delivery cycle from software configuration to go-live.
• Conduct internal testing before releasing for UAT.
• Create user manuals and provide end-user training per agreement.
• Troubleshoot Odoo-related issues and ensure smooth integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration.
• Stay updated on Odoo developments and propose improvements.
• Support pre-sales by creating and presenting demos to clients.

Portcities seeks a dynamic and experienced Junior Consultant to join our consulting team. This role involves assisting in the analysis, design, implementation, and support of technology solutions that address clients' business needs. The Junior Consultant works closely with senior consultants and clients, contributing to the success of projects through technical and functional expertise.

Job Description

• Analyze client business processes and requirements to design business solutions with detailed requirements. Produce a Functional Specification, and UAT plan, and prepare test cases, flowcharts, and diagrams.
• Accompany customers in the full delivery cycle from software configuration to go live.
• Internal testing on configuration/development should be conducted before releasing them for UAT.
• Create a user manual and provide training and support to end-users as per the agreement defined.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Odoo-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration.
• Stay updated on Odoo developments and suggest improvements.
• Support the sales team during pre-sales by creating and presenting a demo.
• Prepare presentation slides in English or other specific language if required.
• Prepare MoM in English or other specific language if required

Requirements

• Bachelor degree from Information System / Computer Science / Business / Accounting / Management. Master degree from business management is an advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in solution-based sales, business development, or pre-sales, with a focus on ERP system implementation or software development/implementation.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and manage relationships with internal teams, cross-functional colleagues, and external partners.
• Work Authorization Requirement: Candidates must have valid work authorization in Malaysia to be considered for this position.
• Language Skills: Intermediate communication, presentation and writing skills in English.
