Job summary

Talent Recruit is representing a steel manufacturing client in Malaysia seeking a junior-leaning Supply Chain Executive (Systems Focus) to support ERP implementation and data maintenance. The role centers on accurate master data entry for materials, suppliers and routing, plus assisting with planning reports and dashboards.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma/Degree in SCM and hands-on ERP exposure, with strong Excel skills and analytical ability. Monday–Friday, 8:30am–6pm, on-site in Penang area.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in SCM or related field.
• Hands-on ERP experience.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate data entry and master data maintenance for materials, suppliers, customers, and routing.
• Compile and update supply chain data for planning and reporting; improve system-generated reports and dashboards.
• Support system testing, upgrades, and implementation of new modules.
• Provide end-user training and develop SOPs and user manuals.
• Ensure smooth operation of supply chain software systems.
• Integrate data for end-to-end supply chain planning.
• Use ERP and WMS to manage inventory, track shipments, and automate processes.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and generate reports.
• Coordinate with production to align material availability with schedules.
• Maintain records and generate ERP reports.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and safety standards.
