Job summary

deye inverter technology in Johor, Malaysia seeks a capable Maintenance Manager to lead and develop the maintenance team, ensuring daily repairs, preventive maintenance plans, and safety compliance. The role requires strong knowledge of high/low voltage systems, and certificates such as SSC and ST Electrical Competency.

You will coordinate with inspectors and authorities, drive reliability improvements, and maintain audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years in equipment department management.
• Fluent in Mandarin and strong knowledge of HV/LV power distribution systems.
• Local certification for managing power distribution equipment is required.
• Experience with production workshop equipment wiring and maintenance.
• Familiarity with Malaysian laws on special equipment in factories.
• Safety-focused with knowledge of DO SH and related safety certificates.

Job description

• Lead, schedule and supervise maintenance team for daily repair, troubleshooting, breakdown response.
• Develop and implement PM (Preventive Maintenance) plan, TPM, equipment checklist and record system.
• Lead daily inspection, safety check, LOTO, risk assessment and accident investigation for special equipment.
• Manage statutory documents: logbook, inspection report, certification, compliance record for audit.
• Coordinate with external authorized inspectors, vendors and government authorities (DOSH/ST/JKKP/Bomba).
• Train team on special equipment safety operation and compliance requirement.
• Monitor equipment condition, troubleshoot, improve reliability and eliminate hidden danger.
• Ensure all activities follow Malaysia OSH Act 1994 & Factory & Machinery Act 1967.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with over 5 years of experience in equipment department management (fluent in Mandarin).
• Experience managing high-voltage and low-voltage power distribution systems; proficient in the basic principles of high and low-voltage power distribution equipment; able to independently diagnose and handle various equipment malfunctions (possessing the required local certification for managing power distribution equipment).
• Extensive experience in production workshop equipment wiring and maintenance.
• Experience managing central air compressor stations; familiar with the maintenance of screw air compressors, refrigerated dryers, and other equipment; familiar with the materials and technical aspects of various pipelines and valves.
• Experience managing special equipment; understanding of Malaysian laws and regulations regarding the management requirements of special equipment in factories.
• Familiar with and capable of operating various fire-fighting facilities.
