Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Equipment & Process Engineer with hands-on experience in 3D Laser Printer / AOI equipment to support semiconductor manufacturing operations. You will develop and optimize processes, set up equipment, program recipes, and drive yield and quality improvements across production lines.

The role involves process qualification, troubleshooting, cross‑functional collaboration, and documentation of specifications and SOPs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, electronics, precision manufacturing, or related industries.
• Hands‑on experience with 3D Laser Printer and/or AOI equipment.
• Experience in AOI programming, recipe setup, parameter optimization, and defect analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and sustain 3D Laser Printer and AOI processes for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Set up, program, and optimize equipment recipes and inspection parameters.
• Perform process qualification, validation, capability studies, and engineering evaluations.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Equipment & Process Engineer with hands‑on experience in 3D Laser Printer / AOI equipment to support semiconductor manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for process development, equipment setup, programming, optimization, troubleshooting, process qualification, yield improvement, and continuous improvement of 3D laser printing and AOI inspection processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and sustain 3D Laser Printer and AOI processes for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Set up, program, and optimize equipment recipes and inspection parameters.
• Perform process qualification, validation, capability studies, and engineering evaluations.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment‑related issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Optimize inspection parameters to improve defect detection, accuracy, repeatability, and false‑call performance.
• Analyze AOI inspection results, process data, defects, and yield trends.
• Drive improvements in yield, quality, productivity, cycle time, and process capability.
• Support NPI, new product qualification, product transfer, and engineering builds.
• Work closely with Production, QA, Equipment Engineering, and NPI teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Develop and maintain process specifications, SOPs, work instructions, control plans, and technical documentation.
• Conduct RCA, 8D, CAPA, DOE, SPC and PFMEA activities.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and process stability initiatives.
• Support equipment preventive maintenance, calibration, and performance improvement.
• Ensure compliance with semiconductor quality, safety, ESD, and manufacturing requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, electronics, precision manufacturing, or related industries.
• Hands‑on experience with 3D Laser Printer and/or AOI equipment.
• Experience in AOI programming, recipe setup, parameter optimization, and defect analysis.
• Good knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and inspection processes.
• Experience in process troubleshooting, qualification, yield improvement, and process control.
• Familiar with SPC, DOE, PFMEA, RCA, 8D and CAPA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and cross‑functional teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
