Job summary

COMPOSITES TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH MALAYSIA SDN BHD invites suitably qualified engineers to join our team in the aerospace and composites sectors. You will plan, implement and maintain equipment to prevent production downtime and support continuous improvement.

The role requires a degree in Mechatronic/Electrical/Mechanical or related engineering, at least two years in manufacturing, and the ability to read electrical, mechanical and instrumentation drawings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechatronic/Electronic/Mechanical/Electrical discipline or related engineering background.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in manufacturing industry.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation drawings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and maintain equipment to prevent production/operation breakdowns.
• Generate data reports and perform analyses on processes, headcount, energy use and risk & safety for improvements.
• Maintain and improve the database for accurate equipment history and data health analysis.
• Maintain and improve CBM/PdM system for critical equipment.
• Ensure maintenance and service of equipment meet regulatory requirements.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.

2. Generate data reports and perform analyses on operational processes, headcount allocation, energy consumption and risk & safety process for improvement recommendation and implementation
3. Maintain and improve the database for accurate equipment history and data health analysis
4. Maintain and improve the current Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) or Predictive Maintenance (PdM) system for critical equipment
5. Ensure the maintenance and service of equipment's meet the organizational and regulatory/authority requirements.
6. Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective/preventive actions
