Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an automation professional to design and develop leading-edge solutions for semiconductor environments, including RFID and 2-D tracking. You will integrate systems, specify tests, and define acceptance criteria.

The role requires strong Tcl/Tk/C/Java programming, Unix/Linux experience, SEMI standards familiarity, and excellent English communication. Independent work and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum BSc in CompSci, CompEng or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in automation for semiconductor environments with track in/out, RMS, wafer mapping.
• Experience implementing automation solutions for semiconductor environments such as RFID and tracking.
• Familiarity with SEMI standards (E4, E5, E30, E142, G84).
• Strong programming skills in Tcl/Tk, C and Java.
• Experience on Unix/Linux and Windows.
• Proficient with source control (SVN, GIT).
• Good English communication; Mandarin/Thai a plus.

• Design and develop leading edge automation solutions such as RFID and 2-D tracking, APC/FDC.
• Prepare specifications, tests, deliverables, and acceptance tests criteria.
• Design and implement integration and automated tests.

Professional knowledge and expertise

• 3+ years working experience in semiconductor environment with focus on equipment integration and automation.
• Good understanding of semiconductor process covering Pre-Assembly, Assembly and Test.
• Experience in implementing automation solutions for semiconductor environment such as automated track in/out, RMS, wafer mapping, RFID.
• Strong knowledge of SEMI standards such as E4, E5, E30, E142, G84 etc.
• Experience in performing GEM (E30) qualification on machine.
• Good programming skill using on Tcl/Tk, C, Java.
• Experience developing on Unix and/or Linux OS as well as Windows.
• Experience using source code repository management (e.g SVN, GIT).
• Familiarity in automated Unit Tests scripting is an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills with good English communication and writing skills. Mandarin and Thai language will be an added advantage.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests
